Get to Know the History of our late Apostle James Archie, sr.
Apostle James Archie was called to the ministry in 1967,
under the leadership of Pastor Bessie Whitney. He served faithfully under her tutelage until the Lord led him and his brother, Bishop George Archie, to launch out on their own. Moments of Miracles radio broadcast was born. God blessed and the ministry progressed to become known as Moments of Blessings House of Prayer.
In 1971 Bishop James along with his wife Lady Marie Archie and their family, began commuting to Fresno, California. They started out pastoring a small group of believers birthing Moments of Blessings House of Prayer Church of Fresno in the true apostolic nature of the book of Acts. That was 50 years ago and God has continued not only to show himself faithful, but he has carried this ministry new dimensions!
Apostle James Archie has received commendations for his milestones in ministry and service to the community of Fresno by the President of the United States, George W. Bush, Governor Arnold Swartzenegger, former Secretary of State, Bill Jones, and the former Mayors of Fresno, Alan Autry and Ashley Swearengin. These accolades came on the heels of an ever-expanding ministry forcing out the walls of the sanctuary to accommodate “Harvesting the Future” that God is sending.
God raised Bishop James Archie up as a General in the body of Christ as he has given him to the nations. His stance for holiness and righteousness was uncompromising and is vitally necessary in this day and time in which we are living. He was faithful to God, his family and the ministry to which God has called and ordained him. He was a true end-time leader and his legacy continues on as Senior Pastor Marie Archie takes up the mantle, evolving the foundation he set into P.I.C.A. and Total Man Ministry.
